He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Louise Murdock; his children, Lisa Tolmie (Derek) and Julie Murdock; his grandchildren, Megan and Grace Tolmie; his siblings, George Murdock (Helen Acres), Tom Murdock (Leona), Mark Murdock (Maureen), Bernie Murdock and Linda Kingsbury (Alec); and his aunt Helen.
