She is survived by: her husband Sylvio Richard; her children, Andrea (James), Keri-Ann (Darcy), Nathalie and Sébastien (Megan); and her grandchildren, Blair, Zoé, Ethan, Colin and Emily.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St-Joseph's Manor or the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association (ORSA) in the name of her grand-daughter Zoé in honor of Diane's compassionate spirit and dedication to helping others.
