With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Atkinson (Shawville, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Charles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Charles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Atkinson and Rose Bertrand; his sister Phyllis Atkinson; his wife Jacqueline Gauthier; and his stepchildren, Sandra and Danny.
He is survived by: his close friends, Claude Piché, Ronnie Tanguay and Leslie Brinksworth. He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church.
