He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebert Richardson and Kathleen Hodgins; his siblings, Royce (late Joyce), Sheila (Charlie), Brenda and Bert (Darlene); and his stepdaughter Tammy.

He is survived by: his son Mark (Jessica); his stepson Randy (Adele); his siblings, Claire (late Henry Lunam), Marlyn (Norris Angus), Diane (late Joey Keon), Murray (Gloria), Mona (Earl Newton), Myles (Marsha), Mike (Janice) and Rick (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Briggs, Rori, Brock, Derian (Erin), Kayla and Travis; and his great grandchildren, Dawson, Arabella, Skylar and Braelynne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
