He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Kanter and Pearl Kanter; and his siblings, Bernard Kanter and Myrna Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Jean Kanter; his daughters, Susan Schwartz (Ronald), Paula Roston (Howard) and Dana Prottas (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Laurel, Zachary, Joshua, Sydney, Ayelet and Addie; and his sister Doreen Cons (Barney).
