Beatrice Govan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beatrice Govan (Saint-Lambert, Québec), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Murphy and Robert Govan Sr. Pre; and her brother Bruce (Robert Jr.). She is survived by: her husband Mervin George Hunter; her children, Angela and Mervin "Skip" (Donna); her granddaughters, Holly and Emma Hunter; and her siblings, Carolyn, Janet, William (Linda) and John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (307 Rue Riverside, Saint-Lambert, QC J4P 1A7). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA Monterégie (Rive-Sud) in her honour would be greatly appreciated.
