He was predeceased by: his grandfather Frank Valois. He is survived by: his parents, Vera and Jaime; his siblings, Jasmine and Markus; his grandparents, Cazilia, Gerhard Milbradt and Diane; his aunts and uncles, Bernhard, Stephanie (Tante Anneliese), John and Seena; and his cousins, Horst, Darlene, Kasandra, Katrina, Sydney-May and Tanner.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Karl's name to either Jumpstart or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
