With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mona (Young) MacKechnie (Quyon, Québec), who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Laurie; her children, Donna Kennedy (Ellard), Dale (Sandra) and Chris (Darrell); her grandchildren, Brandon (Meghan) and Kayla Duquette (Ben); her great grandchildren, Raymie, Reese, Rhett and Louisa; her child Courtney Alexander (Joanne); her grandchildren, Derek (Christine) and Tara Chavez (Jefte); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Elisa and Violet; her parents, Bay Young and Velva Young; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald (Helen) and Douglas (Helen).
She is survived by: her brother Ralph (late Nancy); and also, Claude (Birdie), Graham (Doris), Reid, Erna Davis (Ken) and Garry (Brenda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and endless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Quyon Community Centre (1 Rue Ferry, Quyon, QC J0X2V0).
