He was predeceased by: his sister Diane MacCready. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Halliwell; his children, Barbara, Stephen (Louise), Elizabeth (Paul), Deirdre (Bruce) and Christine (Mark); and his grandchildren, Samuel, Emilie, Ecaterina, Ruth, Rebekah, Luke, Patrick, Paige, Jessie, Jason, Jane, Michael, Julien and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's United Church, St. Columba House or West Island Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
