It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Teresa Hassall (Pointe-Claire, Québec), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on November 24, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Josephine Hassall and Charles Albert Hassall; her spouse John David Kirkland Ashdown; her sibling Ted Hassall (Janet) of Niagara Falls; her children, Heather, Laurie Burnett (George), Kenneth (Danika Dinsmore) and Lynne (James Tottle); and her grandchildren, Erik Ashdown, Hanna and Dylan Burnett.
