He was predeceased by: his parents, Ranald McDonald and Helen McDonald (Stewart); and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Barnes; his sons, Noah McDonald and Joshua Ryan; his brother Colin (Kim); his mother-in-law Christine Barnes; and his brothers-in-law, Joe (Joyce) and Johnny (Heather). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
