She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Prof Gerald Farnell; her children, Sandra (John Peacock) and Doug (Anne Tchipeff); her grandchildren, Erika, Anthony, Katherine and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Maya, Harrison, Spencer and Maë.
To all who knew her, they cannot once remember her uttering a word of complaint. And this from a woman who experienced the Great Depression, the loss of her brother in the Second World War, a devastating polio diagnosis right after the birth of her son, the death of her husband, the love of her life (Prof Gerald Farnell), and, of course, a global pandemic.
