He was predeceased by: his son Kevin (Shirley Palmer). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Flanagan (Wilder); his sister Pat Thomas; his children, Michael (Jane Livingston), Patti (Michael Berlinguette), Neil (Nancy Stride) and Maureen; his stepdaughters, Cynthia and Susan; his grandchildren, Logan, Connor, Jake Drummond, Ryan Flanagan, Kate Flanagan, Beavan Flanagan and Tristan Flanagan; his great grandchildren, Claire, Reese and Palmer; and his parents, James Cyril Flanagan and Elizabeth Randall Baile.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Peter's memory may be made to the Montreal General Hospital.
