He was predeceased by: his son Henry. He is survived by: his wife Ju-Yin Hsu; his children, Louis (Shu Chun Lu), Therese (Jean-François Lafleur) and Richard (Treena Dickson); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Connor, Liam, Sydney, Matisse, Nate, Laeticia and Stella.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
