He was predeceased by: his parent Ferdinand Racine; his grandchild Chantale; his sibling Lisette; his parent-in-law Peter Blaskie; and his sibling-in-law Peter Jr..

He is survived by: his parent Armandine Pelletier; his children, Pauline (Réjean), Lionel "Sonny" (Wendy), Ken (Diane), Colette (Wayne) and Pat (Barb); his grandchildren, Jason, Ron, Ryan, Julie, Sylvie, Tim, Derek, Jessica, Patricia and Cody; his siblings, Dorias, Aldege, Rheal and Laurette; his parent-in-law Emma Gauthier; and his siblings-in-law, Stella Jr. (late Ray), Rita Jr. (late Raymond), Victor Jr. (Rachelle) and Johnny Jr. (Helen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
