He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa; and his siblings, Nora MacDonald, Mary, Nancy Gillis, Elizabeth Conn, William, George and John Gillis.
He is survived by: his niece Andrea; his sister-in-law Evelyn; and his children, Harold of Victoria, BC and Joanne (William Mayes).
