He is survived by: his wife Laura Flowers Smith; his children, Crystal (Tim), Tracie (Doug), Megan (Dany) and Raven (Brandon); his grandfathers, James, Liam, Sydney, London, Lexia, Wyatt, Rayna and Griffin; his brother Craig Burns Smith (Joan); his in-laws, Margaret and Allyn Flowers; his brother-in-law John (Amy); his nephew Joshua; his sister-in-law Judy (Jean-Paul); and his nephew Phillippe.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Roscel (Ross) Smith to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund.
