Silja Saara Salonen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024, Silja Saara Salonen (Montréal, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Silja Saara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Silja Saara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her child Synnöve Seidman; her son-in-law Sean Seidman; her sister Rosemary (Mark Dimuantes); her nephews, Simon and Matthew Dimuantes; her great-niece Iris; and her great-nephew Oliver Dimuantes.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Paperman & Sons (3888 Rue Jean-Talon E, Montréal, QC H2A1Y7). A shiva was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
