He was predeceased by: his brother Phillip; his mother Bella (Max Avrith); and his siblings, Joyce (Steven Robinson), Michael (Jenny Avrith), Nettie (Abe Shragie), Sam (Beatrice Avrith), Charles Avrith, Henry Avrith (Bertha Avrith), Moses (Mushy), Esther Avrith and Seymour Avrith.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Natalie Avrith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many friends.
