He was predeceased by: his former wife Margueritte Lacroix (Gogotte). He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Barrette; his children, Louise (Brendan) and Edmund (Sheila); his grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Anne-Marie (Mike), Timothy, Meghan (John) and Nikki (Bela); his great grandchildren, Eamon and Calum; and his nieces, Rev. Annemarie Stuart (Isabelle) and Tessa O'Brien (Donogh).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Centre Funénaire Cote-Des-Neige (4525 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Church (16 Lockwood Rd, Toronto, ON M4L1G8).
