He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Gross and Eva Gross; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Ruth Kaminsky. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Kaminsky (Elly); his children, Eva-Lynn Gross, Nancy Gross and Janice Gross (Stephen Klar); his grandchildren, Shane Goldman, Isabelle Owston, Cori Goldman, Jonah Palevsky, Devin Goldman, Drew Goldman, Nikki Goldman, Noah Klar, Abby Klar and Isaac Klar; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Alexis, Nolan Goldman, Aiden and Chase Palevsky.
