He is survived by: his wife Maria Angelina Medeiros; his children, Jose Carlos (Filomena Tavares), John Francisco (Rosa Ventura), Mario Jorge (Maria Medeiros) and Sara Maria (Martine Bertrand); his grandchildren, Elias, Cassaundra, Angelika, Catherine, Amanda, Sarah, Shana, Lucas, Mathew, Emily, Marina and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Marcus and Austin.
