He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johann and Eva (Hedrich); his nephews, Henry Schafer and Peter Fazio; his sisters, Eva (late Heinrich Schafer) and Elisabeth (late John Fazio); his nephews, Fred Schafer (late Irene Walo) and Steven Fazio; his niece Carolyn Fazio (Tasso); and also, Andrew Schafer (Dorothy) and Michael Schafer.
