He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Goldberg and Moe Goldberg; his wife Janet Goldberg; his siblings, Lila, Arthur Bronstein, Norman and Trina Goldberg; his children, Jill, Joel Reitman, Howard Goldberg, Eliza Parkinson, Lynn and George Heidgerken; his grandchildren, Sam Reitman, Stefanie Frangos, Richard Reitman, Michelle, Jeremy Kingsley, Josh Fichman-Goldberg, Rodger Heidgerken, Jonah Buksbaum and Norah Buksbaum; and his great grandchildren, Eliot, Gavi Reitman and Cooper Kingsley. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel (2401 Steeles Ave W, North York, ON M3J2P1). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park.
