Frank W. Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank W. Smith of Montréal, Québec, who passed away on March 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Allana Reid Smith; and his siblings, Ernest, Anthony and Vera. He is survived by: his children, Caroline (Gregory Koculym) and Allan (Karen); his grandchildren, Alex Koculym (Marta), Allana Robinson (Scott), Katie Forbes (Tyson), Larissa McLay (Jason), Bruce Smith (Sarah) and Robert Koculym; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Owen, Reid, Maria, Elgin, Sam and Calder.

Born just as WWI was concluding, Frank's life spanned the Spanish Flu pandemic, the Great Depression, WWII, the computer revolution, and the Covid pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Frank to the Perley Health Foundation or to Montreal West Presbyterian Church.
