Bess (Melnick) Katchan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, Bess (Melnick) Katchan (Montréal, Québec) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Eli; and her siblings, Dave (Shoshana Melnick), Nellie (Sydney Enkin) and Esther (Charlie Gorber). She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Amalia) and Brian (Asia); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Yoni, Fira, Aviva and Mori. She is also survived by her family, friends.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victorian Hebrew Cemetery. A shiva was held on Monday, April 7th 2025, on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and at the Eric's Home.
