With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernadette Souaid of Montréal, Québec, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bernadette left this world on February 1, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Souaid and Hafiza Souaid; her husband Albert K. Habib; her sister Laurice Boojady (Raymond); and her siblings-in-law, Gerry Habib (Jeanne) and Leona Assaly (George).
She is survived by: her children, Kim (Jay Goldman), Leslie and Mark (Jeannette Doiron); her brothers, Marcel (Pauline) and Norman (Edith); her grandchildren, Lauren Goldman (Owen Thomas), Dana Goldman, Jenna Habib (Pablo Gandara), Kate Yafalian (Manuel Eggenberger), Ben Habib and Lisa Yafalian; and her great grandchildren, Emilia and Enzo. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Urgel Bourgie (1255 Av. Beaumont, Mont-Royal, QC H3P2H2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Royal Cemetery (1297 Chem. de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V2P9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Orthodox Church or to the Cedars Cancer Institute.
