He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brascoupe and Theresa Tenasco. He is survived by: his child Russell Junior; his siblings, Janet, Anthony, Karen (Tom Cote) and Dustin Cote; and his goddaughter Melanie Whiteduck. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
