He is survived by: his wife Georgia Papaioannou; his child Stavros; his stepchildren, Dimitrios (Dimitra Roumeliotis), Maria (Paul Varoutsos) and Christina (Thanasi Matziaris); his grandchildren, Eleftherios and Sergios Eftychios Katsipis; and his stepgrandchildren, Georgios, James Varoutsos, George, Constantina Roumeliotis and Chrysovalantou Matziaris. He is also survived by his other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Cité de la Santé Hospital; Fondation Maxime-Letendre.
