He is survived by: his daughters, Karen and Priscilla; his siblings, Richard Cross, Linda Maxwell (David Maxwell), Maureen Dawe (Ted Dawe) and Doreen Verge (Barry Verge); his grandchildren, Marie-Pier, Alexandra, Brandon and Amy; and his friend Anne Huet.

A donation to the Heart and stroke foundation of Canada can be made in his memory.
