He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Phelps and Alden Perkins; and his sister Sandra Perkins (John). He is survived by: his wife Nicole; his brother Dwight (Reta); his nephews, Mark (Marie-Eve), Jason (Lori), Johnny and Paul; his great-niece Emma; and his great-nephews, Jayden, Liam and Thomas. He is also survived by many friends and other family members.

John was a good bridge player helped by his mathematical mind and he certainly enjoyed his weekly outings at our bridge club. John was a thoughtful and considerate gentleman to us all.
