It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Brooks (Lac-Mégantic, Québec), who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Brooks and Dorothy Brooks; his grandparents, Anthony, Gertrude Brooks, George and Gussie Sims; his brother-in-law Nate Howell; his niece Shemika Morris; and his close friends, Betty Stewart and Curtis Banks.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Wilkins Jackson (Percy D.); his grandsons, Marcelles Anthony Jackson of Buena Park, California, Cordez Delorence of Buena Park, California and Kamryn Delias Jackson of Buena Park, California; his siblings, Floyd (Patricia) of Muskegon, Lewis of Muskegon, George (Genita) of Muskegon, Craig of Muskegon, Andrew of Decatur, GA, Kevin (Audrey) of Stone Mountain, GA, Janie Davis (Tyrone), Carolyn Alexander (Ray), Marilyn Brooks of Muskegon, Linda Howell of Detroit, MI and Katherine Brown of Flint, MI.; and his friends, Walt Atkinson, Clarence Gregory and Lois Wilkins. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, three uncles; six aunts; a host of cousins, other relatives.
