He was predeceased by: his parents, Annette Clermont and Henri Clermont; his brother Edward Clermont; and his stepson Kelvin Portelance. He is survived by: his wife Linda Briscoe Portelance; his stepchildren, Cindy Portelance (Brian), André Portelance (Lisa Batisse) and Paul Portelance (Pam Lacroix); his sisters, Aline Montigny, Gene Montigny, Marie Jean and Tom Lombardy; and also, Connie Grenier, John Clermont, Angel Clermont, Melody Briscoe and Charles Briscoe. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
