Marina (Posedi) Legin Obituary

Marina Legin née Posedi, passed away peacefully , on February 14th, 2024, at the age of 78, surrounded by her family at the Huntingdon County CHSLD. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Stephan Legin, her daugther Suzy (Gweltaz) and her son David (Gwenn), Nona and grandmother to Veronik (Pasquale), Kristen (Alex), Alan (Katerine), Lena (Philippe), Mona and Ronan. Mamica and great-grandmother to Mila, Allie, Eva, Nolan and Clara. She is also survived by her sister Dana (Vinko). She will be missed by many friends and family here and in Croatia.

The family would like to thank the many nurses and staff at the Huntingdon CHSLD Palliative Care Center and to the Auxiliary volunteers.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 from 1 to 3:30 p.m., at Rodrigue Montpetit & Fils Funeral Home, 170, Châteauguay Street, Huntingdon, Quebec, 450-264-5331, followed by a celebration of her life in the Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at a later date.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
