She was predeceased by: her husband Kelwyn Beattie; her parents, Emmanuel McSheffrey and Dorothy Holmes; her brothers, Vincent McSheffrey Br (Brenda Kealey), James McSheffrey and S. J.; and her sister-in-law Jean Wallace (late Bruce).
She is survived by: her child Kelena (Chris McDowell); her grandchildren, Joshua and Ryan; her siblings, Claire (Elmer McKale) and Hugh McSheffrey; and her siblings-in-law, Ervin Beattie (Ruth), Doreen Davis (late Harold) and Lorna Beattie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
