He was predeceased by: his parents, John McRae and Grace Copeland of Lost River; and his siblings, Wyman (Edith), Lawrence (Norma), Anthony (Kitty), Angus (Opal), Harold (Faye), Mary (Charles), Eleanor (Lambert), Iva (Bob) and Brian (Alice).

He is survived by: his spouse Waverly; his children, Cameron (Kim), Bobby (Heather) and Treena (Les); his grandchildren, Kristen, Jordan, Emily, Tye, Sydney, Summer, Liam and Farran; and his sisters, Heather (Bob) and Margaret (Richard). He is also survived by his sister-in laws, brother-in laws, cousins, nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shaw Cemetery or the Golden Age in Harrington, Quebec.
