He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owens and Muriel Tait; and his wife Joanne Wilson. He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Barnes (Jim Walsh), Sheila VanSickle (John) and Enid MacDougall (Kenneth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
