He was predeceased by: his parent John Halliday; his siblings, Gertrude (Stanley), Gladys (John) and Jack; and his niece Donna.

He is survived by: his parent Agnes Helen Smith; his sister-in-law Anna Hric; his nephews, Richard, Kenneth (Juli) and Bryan (Héléne); his niece Karen (John); and also, Ryan (Dragana), Chris (Shannon), Lindsay, Karley, Katherine and Jackson.
