He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick and Laura May Philp (Perkins) of Truro; his wife Violet Philp (Betsy); his children, Allan (Heather), Jack, Lorena (Jacques), Jeff (Kim) and Cheryl; his grandchildren, Kym (Matt), Andrew (Selina), Erin, Joshua, Rebecca and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Alexia, Zoey, Emily, Sarah, Stephanie and Jack.
