He is survived by: his spouse Zabia Dean Chamberlain; his children, Noorjahan (Mathieu) and Alia (Louis-Étienne); his grandchildren, Elinor, Jules and Madeleine; and his mother-in-law Salima. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
