He was predeceased by: his parents, Mr Edmund Briand and Eva Rooney; and his siblings, Evan His and Rowena. He is survived by: his wife Jane Walsh; his children, Velena, Eddie, Larry (Sandy) and Doris (Perry); his grandchildren, Jessica (Xavier), David, Logan, Liam and Lexi; and his sister Una.
