He is survived by: his wife Valerie Powlett; his siblings, Gerald Browne, Harriett Hinds, Golda Taylor, Veronica Brooks and Margaret Mecado; his children, Hislaryn Weekes Brathwaite, Petrona Straughn, Ralph Weekes, David Carrington and Camara Campbell; his grandchildren, Michelle, Lisa, Brian, Kevin, Rayshawn, Danica and Rashad; his great grandchildren, Kamari Brathwaite, Tayasha, Tanaysh, Brianna Franklin and Brian Franklin Jr.; his sister-in-law Denise Holder (Keith Nurse); and his children-in-law, Hanisley Straughn and Colleen Weekes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
