He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Steinbrecher. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Newark; his children, Carol, George (Denise) and Paul (Susanne); his grandchildren, Steven, Katie, Jacqueline, Amalie, Ingrid, Justin, Kevin and Meghan; his stepgrandson Alex (Veronika); and his close friend Erika Kling.
