It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Casselman (Chesterville, Québec), who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Don Casselman; her parents, Clifford Wylie and Dora Wylie; her siblings, Deltra Jordan, Pauline Harper, Maynard, Harold, Parker, Ralph and Ray Wylie; her niece Penny McCargar; and her siblings-in-law, Stan Jordan, Ralph McCargar, Don Harper, Lillian Wylie and Linda Casselman.
She is survived by: her partner Cephus Sypes; her children, Bonnie Shaver (Stephen McCann) of Cardinal, Betty Abdullah (Mo) of Brockville, Allan (Cathy) of Brighton, Debbie Saunders (Kevin) of Iroquois and Rob; her grandchildren, Sheri (Craig), Stacey (Josh), Mike (Paula), Abbey (Troy), Rachel (Ira), Amber, Christopher (Dawn), Amy (Bill), Marie (Jordan), Rob (Nicole), Adam (Chloe), Justin (Bridget) and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Kendall, Finn, Paislee, Rylan, Hayven, Fletcher, Malone, Kenzie, Aubrey, Stevie, Sloane, Shea, Enid, Harley (Nicole), Andrew, Isaiah, Dean, Jace, Lachlan, Charles, Jimmy and Tristan; her great great grandchildren, Ella, Carter, Molly and Haley; her sister Eileen McCargar of Pittston; and her brothers-in-law, Glendon Casselman (Donna) of Morrisburg and Lyle Casselman of Cambridge. She is also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements Due to Covid restrictions a family service will be held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
