She is survived by: her husband Danny Brushett; her stepsons, Shawn and Matthew; her daughters-in-law, Jacqueline and Jane; her grandson Dallas; her sister Donna; her nephew Evan of Ottawa; her brother Dan; her sister-in-law Karleen; and her nephew James of Vancouver, BC. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In Lieu of flowers: In remembrance of Leanne's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to purchase much needed supplies for residents of the facility that cared for Leanne during the last months of her life. Donations can be made to Maison des aînés et alternative de Châteauguay on the day of the celebration of life.
