He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Amelia Chartrand; his parents, Paul Chartrand and Lorraine Chartrand; his grandparents, Alfred and Jean Adam; his siblings, Andrea (Billy Turner), Jean-Marc (Janna DesRoches), Hélène (Richard Martin), Pierre (Tiffany Gagnon) and Gisèle (Ryan O'Neill); his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Gregory, Charlotte, Wilson Turner, Carson, Blake, Alice, Robyn O'Neill and Annie Martin; and also, Noranda Marion, Paul, Sally Romain, Julie Romain (Reid Schimmens), Alyssa (Cory Ybarra), Emma (Aime Allard), Wyatt, Colton and Easton Allard. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
