She was predeceased by: her husband Bert; her children, David, Laurie, Christopher and Wayne; her parents, Edward Downey and Ida Perrault; her brother Edgar; her sister-in-law Agnes; and her stepsiblings, Tommy, Clarence (Veronica Gavin), Beatrice (Charles Riddle), Vera, Roy, Andrew MacDonald (Theresa Sullivan) and Ida.

She is survived by: her child Msgr; her daughter-in-law Gloria (late Wayne); and her sister Hazel McGuire (late Philip). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses and by many relatives and friends.
