He was predeceased by: his child Sylvie; and his brother Gilles. He is survived by: his children, Mario (Sylvie), Christiane (Paul), Marie-Anne (late Marcel), Mychel, Dominique and Elisabeth Blais; his grandchildren, Angélique, Katerine, Valérie, Justin, Marie-Pier, Pamela, Francis, David and Patrice; and his siblings, Pierrette, Marthe, Yvon and Marcel. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
