She was predeceased by: her spouse Maurice Carey; and her parents, Donat Talbot and Alberta Lamontagne. She is survived by: her children, Sylvain (Line), Nathalie, Isabelle (René) and Catherine (Alain); and her grandchildren, Matthieu, Pierre-Luc, Élodie, Philippe, Charles and Amelia. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, her nephews and nieces and many other friends and relatives.

By way of sympathies, donation to the Société de la sclérose latérale amyotrophique du Québec will be appreciated.
