He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Rubin; and his brother Harry (Yetta Kleinman). He is survived by: his daughters, Mona and Marcie Klinger; his sons-in-law, Michael Takefman and Mark Hodess; and his siblings, Miriam (Beryl Peletz), Pearl (Jack Paskell) and Nat (Leila Kurtzman). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
